Bio
Ruth has competently led and delivered on a number of projects that
require legal and governance advisory in the not-for-profit sector. This
includes outreach programmes under the Public Interest Law Clinic
(Makerere University) aimed at sensitization of the vulnerable on their
social justice needs. Ruth provides bespoke legal counsel to clients on
regulatory compliance, board affairs, insurance claims management,
contracts management and negotiation, amongst others. She was
previously an Associate with Signum Advocates, where she enhanced
her expertise in commercial litigation, corporate and commercial
advisory and corporate secretarial practice.
Ruth is passionate about leadership and is currently a mentor with
Project Girls for Girls (G4G), a not-for-profit programme aimed at
empowering the girl child with the courage, vision and skills needed
to take on leadership.
She is also a member of the Uganda Law Society (ULS), the East Africa
Law Society (EALS) and the African Corporate & Government Counsel
Forum (ACGC).
Ruth is a growth mindset enthusiast and is passionate about continuous
self-discovery.
